It seems that lately nobody is really giving some good fishing tales and what the daily action is.

I'm not talking about giving your fishin holes away, but we should all be sharin what's working and the kind of ones that got away etc.

Come'on everyone. let's make this a great fishing discussion board. Some of you might disagree, but I'm sayin it how the board reflects it to me.

Enough said...

well many people would give reports, but whats a report when you cannot tell which river you were fishing, my experience is that people just get pist when you give out the name of a river, be it zippper or not.. i have gotten many emails about stating that the hump is loaded, or the nooch is hot etc etc etc.. so well thats why i no longer post reports... good luck in finding some fish

This has been not been a great year.
( except for Kings and Chums )

Drought

Low returns on silvers

I will be going to my favorite river this Saturday. Dont care to have everyone in the state there. Its bad enough to fish at Barrier Dam where theres 200 bankies. Where I'm going you fish holes and you cant have more than 1-2 people per hole and thats if your casting in sync with each other. Earlier this year I was on the Satsop with two friends. we were fishing a hole when 6 people walked up and started blatantly snagging the silvers. It was cast, count to three and rip your line thru the water. My friend mentioned something to them and we almost got into a fight. Sorry about tight lips but sometimes silence is golden

ok, heres a report from southland. Fished the Rogue from Takelma to Tou Velle park (11 miles of upper river). Hooked 4, landed 3.
Clear and very low (900cfs). Rattlesnake rapids slot is about one foot wider than the driftboat.
Daily excitement included my partner setting down his rod to put out another plug just as a fish (the one we lost) hit his rod and pulled it out of the boat. He caught the handle just as it was about to go underwater (kindof a midair grab). the rivergods almost got a Rogue Rod and Calcutta reel.
Excitement (part II). I stood up to get a better look at the two rocks I was rowing between. The T shaped pull cord for my inflatable life jacket mangaged to get into the ropeseat, so when I stood up I inflated!!!
