Been lurkin the boards for awhile and decide to join in the fun. I am planning a trip over to forks on Dec 6,7 and 8th (motel reservations made) smile . I have researched all the local rivers and found many good spots to fish. What concerns me is the low flows and lack of steelhead that seem to be showing up. For those that frequent the Forks area do you think its worth the trip or should I postpone my trip for later in the month. what

Its up to you but things arnt the best right now. Low flows and a lack of fish. Ive been out some without much success.

If we dont get rain it wont be worth it.

Likewise, Rich. If you don't get any rain by this weekend, I doubt we'll be flloating the Bogie on the 3rd.

Email me on Monday, Rich, to let me know what you think.

Looking at weather.com Forks is supposed to receive a little rain beginning Thursday. Not sure if that will help or not, I'll keep an eye on things. Thanks for the advice.

I don't know abou the other rivers, but the Sol Duc is only running at 4 boards today. I went down it yesterday and didn't see or hear of many fish being caught. beathead
