As far as I know, you can only get it on the good side of the mountains! :p

Here in Ezburg, you can get the Roslyn Amber and the Dark at the Palace and the Dark is also at the Tav. For my tastes, the Dark is a little hoppy, almost ESB like. I like dark beers, but more along the lines of a porter like Black Butte. The Amber is just a really good beer, I wouldn't say it's exceptional like Diamondknot, but it's pretty good! Since the Tav has better food, I go there and drink Fat Tire. beer

Dang, all that and a porter/stout lover, too?

I'm with ya on those hoppy beers; I don't care for them, either. I've been homebrewing for a few years and most are porters and stouts. Lots of malt and body with just a hint of residual sweetness and coffee tones.

But next time I break on through to the other side I'll make it a point to hunt down a Rosyln Amber.

Thanks.

Love your quote!!! If you get even further over on the GOOD side and find yourself in the armpit of the universe...aka Moses Lake... Go to the Ripple Tavern across from Safeway... A small brewer called "Rocky Creek" makes a FINE beer and it's on tap their. It's their Honey Firewood ale.. A subtle beer, but awesome!

I liked their Rocky Creek pint glasses so much that I may now possess a couple through illegal means. evil

Thanks for the info on Rocky Creek. I'll make it a point to putt that way once the weather clears.

Here's a couple more quotes and a verse to share with friends and family:

Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. -- Benjamin Franklin

It was a wise man who invented beer. -- Plato

Dough, the stuff, that buys my beer, Ray, the guy that
tends the bar, Me, the guy, who drinks my beer, Far, the
distance to the bar, So, I think I'll have a beer, La, Laa
lAA lAh LaH LAA LAAAH! Tea, no thanks I want a beer, which
brings us back to Dough Dough Dough!

Cheers.

Amazing. This post has evolved from a fat guy sitting naked at his computer, to an internet shooting match to where we are now presently at..... making beer drinking songs from of "The Sound of Music".

So where is this going next?
