Hey Klick Killer...

You said below blue creek...

Well flyrod had a good site but Killer you need this url

http://boat.iac.wa.gov/launches.asp?county=Lewis

I floated it last Friday... saw a few fish taken we had a dark summer run in the net and put it back... saw a few taken but was pretty slow... but I can say that we fished in December for steelhead, in the sunshine, in moderate cloths... You can't say that every day...!

Anyway good luck and tight lines!
Let us know how it goes...

Oh yea ... here is another site to check out... latest water levels...

http://wa.waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv/?site_no=14238000&PARAmeter_cd=00060,00065

It looks like with the rain there is a little bit more water....

Uh, very dam(n) little more water, maybe went up a couple hundred CFS. That river needs to be closer to 6000 than 3000 this time of year for it to be any good for me - at 6000 I can run it with a prop. umbrella

Fished from a sled on Thursday. Caught a mix of summer run and silvers. Nouthing bright. Most boats were fairing about the same. Very few winter fish caught. Not normal for this time of year.

Well is it still crowed as hell during the week at Blue Creek? Just curious if anyone has seen if there are masses of people like we all heard there was on Sunday (250 rig in the parking lot)..... WOW!!! The best bet would be is to glow ball that S.O.B and avoid the crowd if the rivers remain high everywhere elese..... Just a thought.

Klick Killer,
The lake you're inquiring about is lake Skanewa (sp) and it is indeed further up Hwy 12 from the Cowlitz. Reports are posted over on WashingtonLakes.com. Good fishing earlier, don't know about lately.
