I've tried many different ways of carrying eggs on the river, but I'm wondering if there's a better, more effecient, less messy way of doing it.

In the boat I keep them in a rectangle Tupperware® container layered with papertowels in pre-cut chunks. That makes for quick bait changes. But I've also just kept them as whole skeins in a butter tub and cut what I needed.

When banking it the best I've found so far is a bait box around my waist with the skein in a zip lock bag inside. I cut what I need and go from there.

What other ways have you all found to keep it handy and mess-free?
