confused after i take a package of frozen eggs out for the day and do not use them all is it ok to refrezze them? they are cured in some magic wizzard stuff.

i do, it doesn't seem to hurt them as long as they are cured.

I'd say they tend to milk a little quicker after thawing / frezzing cycles, but they'll still catch fish. No need to freeze right away again if you plan on fishing in the next few weeks smile

I re-freeze mine as a "fix" if they're initially cured too hard and dont' milk.

I refreeze mine if its goinmg to be a long time before I go again.I mostly just refrigate them they'll stay good for a long time in the fridge.I also use the wizard cure.

I have refrozen mine before, but what I do is make sure they are well coated in granulated borax, wrapped in paper towels and vac-packed then I have what I call Driveway Bait. I came up with this term after leaving good eggs in the boat in the driveway and a day or two later realizing what I had done run out there and save the eggs.
I have actually done very well on springers with driveway bait.
