I know I'm a relative newby to the board, so HI

I really like this board. Great place to hang. I've mostly been a lurker, posting on occaision. One small thing I'd like to see added to the board topics section is the column "last poster". This way you can determine if someone responded to a post you added, and it will aid the dial-up users since the won't be downloading the same post twice to see if anybody responded. I know it's possible, another UBB I belong to just did it. I could probably coax the code out of them if you're interested.

That's a feature that'll be out in 6.4 which will be in full use in a few weeks. The "other board" you refer to often runs beta versions and you can see the results in some of the bugs that are apparent.

There are some new features coming out in the new one that I really want to incorporate into the new version of the site, but I'll wait 'til they're fully ready.

Keep in mind that the folders on the left of the topic list effectively do the same thing. They are yellow if there are new posts since your last visit .. white if not
