I think the Cougs should go after Ditka. With Ditka they would be unstoppable and have several repeat Rose Bowl victories. Were talkin' a minimum eightpeat.
As for Price leaving, his decision was based mostly on money, since he now makes as much as Newweisel. Alabama is also one of the top ten schools in history with something like 12 national championships. This is something UW will never accomplish. Their about on par with UW as far as cheating though.

Envy? Riiiight. We wish we were 3-11 against the Cougs and Price instead of being up 11-3 over Price's 14 years at WSU. I hate to see him go, he made the Apple Cup pretty much guaranteed income for me.

Were we watching the same Apple Cup? Up until Gesser got hurt, I don't recall a #3 WSU team "winning easily" over the Dawgs. I saw a classic Cougar team that just couldn't get the job done. But hey, that's the way it's been and always will be.

On the contrary, I saw some classic Coug football during the Apple Cup. Cougs couldn't finish the job and win the big game.

They can have him as far as I'm concerned. Price's record at WSU hasn't exactly been stellar. I've been praying for him to get canned for years. I'm actually amazed that Alabama is willing to pay that much for him.
