"Humbug"…………..

Well, the proposed state cuts are now out! It looks like a few more "hatcheries" will be cut, along with a lot of others state funded and supported jobs!

How do you think or believe that these cuts may affect you when it comes to fishing?

Do these cuts mean that you will you be looking for a new job very soon?

Or does it only mean that it may only be a 3 to 4 month vacation for you?

If your job is being cut, will it help save our fish runs, or do you believe that your job loss (cut) will be a "loss" to our states fisheries? If so, why?

Will you still be willing to pay that $125-$250 per person for a guide? Will you even be able to pay that $200-600 for a new fishing rod? How about that new $100 plus for a new fishing reel?

PLEASE DON'T USE YOUR POLITICAL PARTY VIEWS to answer, just tell us if you think that you will be looking for a new place to fish this year, or a new place to work.

Humbug….

I will keep an Eye out for Expensive fishing gear selling for cheap. Maybe used Db's and Sled's will be dirt cheap. eek And lets not forget that this could make for more space down at the fishing hole. More people out looking for work and less fishing. wink And lets remember that some will be relocating and taking their cars with them, so less freeway congestion. laugh I enjoyed it here a lot more before the big influx of people. smile Maybe this will slowdown some of the clear cutting of trees and destroying of our Salmon streams if there is a continued downturn in our economy. rolleyes So maybe it's not all bad unless it's me or my fishing buddies, then I will be pissed off. beathead In the mean time I will try to make lemonade out of so many lemons. I think I will just fish this one out. <img border="0" alt="[wall]" title="" src="graemlins/wall.gif" />
