I have fished the last three days on the Snoqualmie, and it has been slow, slow, slow. We had one hit two days ago, when it seemed like a bunch of fish were moving through. We saw several rolling around. Then nada yesterday and today. And boy, howdy, was the wind ripping.

Anyone else doing any good? What's the general sense on the Snohomish system, fish not in yet?

By this time last year I had a bunch of marks on the tag, nothing yet, and I'm starting to feel like I've lost the touch.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. The brats are late this year just like the silvers . We've got an El Nino winter sandwiched between La Nina's which means that ocean conditions were favorable for these fish as juveniles. The'll be here, the're just late.
Maybe by Christmas??? Who knows!!!
Good Luck, T

I'll second that emotion...

Some good reports got me off my unemployed arse yesterday to go fart around on the banks of the Snoq. but didn't come home with anything. Water was looking very nice around Fall City but was still pretty cloudy below the Tolt. Probably only a couple feet of vis.

Talked to a few guys who were having similar results. Never made it up to the floatlines at Big Eddy so I can't speak for it. Should be some good pushes of fish into all the "S" rivers you'd think.

I've been up to the eddy and the creek. There are some fish being caught, but it's not like it's red hot. The intake to the hatchery also has much fewer fish than usual at this time.
