Well, with one nasty storm out of the way and another set for tonight might have to go to the Res. and pay for some decent fishing this weekend. How do these two hold-up with all the rain?? Sounds like the Salmon was low on the 24th, anyone been or heading that way??.....c/22

I was going to join friends on Cook Creek with a guide last Friday. Our guide called to cancel because his clients didn't catch fish Wed. or Thurs. If this next rain doesn't bring fish, it may be a grim season for hatchery fish.

Hey Salmo, who was your guide? I went with Letty on Thurs, 19th on Cook and we nailed them. There was 4 of us and we all took 3 chromers home. We lost alot a fish also. Three of us lost fish thet were clearly over 14lbs.

E-dog, I e-mailed Letty yesterday thou we didn't talk about the Salmon or Cook's. Her river report/update/fish pic's page had changed from last year and I couldnt find it. She noted that this years steelie run is way down, which concurs with Salmo g's report. I thought this years hac. run whould be huge as the salmon did quite well, maybe running just a bit late? If there not around when all the rivers drop after this high water then we'll know for sure. Sounds like the Guides on the res. as well as the Forks guys did well right at the start of the season. I'm keeping my hopes-up till I know for sure its a bust. As to the main question anyone know how the 2 streams mentioned take the kind of water were seeing yesterday & tomorrow?..........c/22
