Just curious, Who do you all think will be the starting centerfielder for the Red Sox on opening day? I'd ask about the M's but they may just be a minor league franchise by now.
Come back Theo,

The M's are looking like the Seahawks did from 85 to 98.

I think Jerremy Reed is a better player than he showed offensively last year and hope the M's keep him or don't give him away.

The last time I was at Fenway park, Yaz retired. Looks like the Red Sox are cutting payroll. I think trading Manny for Tejada would be a good trade. Manny sure is a head case, but he has the sweetest swing I have ever seen.

They aren't shedding payroll. That doesn't happen in Beantown. They are trying to be smart. Damon won't be worth 13 million in 3 years. Manny is 12 years old in his head but he really works hard and there is noone more productive. They won't trade him for lesser value and they aren't going to pay him to hit for someone else.
You are right. I would love to have Reed. I heard that he and Ichiro don't really get along.
The Sox brass are on base percentage freeks. They hate giving up outs. The next Sox centerfielder will have a high OBP. Other than Reed I don't see any centerfielders on the market except maybe Baldelli but I don't think anyone can make a deal with the D-rays.
Theo please,
