In 1991 I took a nice Washington 4x4 and then a 32" 5x5 Idaho Muley the same week. Two weeks later I took a 7x7 elk in Idaho followed by a Washington 6x6 the following week. The next summer on our annual trip to the N. end of Vancouver Island I boated 90% of the fish and capped off the week with a 74lb king. My fishing and hunting partners have called me The King ever since. Why do they only call you DanS?

A 5x5 Idaho muley isn't that uncommon, sorry but not impressed. I counted off 18 (16 typicals) during the last archery season I hunted in the Boise foothills.


And as far as elk hunting goes...well I don't give a sh*t about your elk hunting. Some of the finest elk hunting in Idaho exists because of a dead Democratic Senator whom neocon alcoholics such as Dick Cheney, and GW Bush despise. If it was up to the neocons you could own all the freaking guns you wanted but would have no place public left to hunt. Just like you could own all the boats, rods, reels, and tackle in the world, but there wouldn't be a wild salmon or steelhead left to chase.

Vinny was a celeb when all the Salmon were pooled up in the pockets in SW Wa. He thinks its a tough fishery that only he mastered based on all his posts. If he ever makes it up to Alaska his eyes will bug out so big he will probably break his $40 to $90 polorized sun glasses that are so essential to catching pooled fish. Cheeleaders in small towns are like hatchery fish they see a phuckstick and they think "hey I should jump on that". I know even some mickey mouse eared skinflute player like you could even get some.
