Debate, what debate? I have attended some of the competitive debates held at Gonzaga by the budding law students. They are entertaining, however, reality often takes a hike for sake of 'winning the point.' Same as here. Often the whole game is who gets the last nasty word or delivers the best put down. And the Chorus echoes punch line.
I was taught a long time ago, 'never play the oppositions game.' However, I am weak and sometimes it's fun to hear the squeals.

Unfortunately I gotta agree with most of you last post. There have been, as usual, some colossal blunder made. The fact that all administrations make them is not apparent if you listen to the Media. They are anti-Bush and that gives them the ability to paint every issue with ordure and anti-Bush rhetoric. The pendelum does swing and I wish it could stay right of center, but that won't happen.
Now if you could just get over calling names you would have made a real advance in civility.
I realize that, given the environment here, it will be difficult.
btw I am not an extremist, however, I do react to nincompoops like...aw you now who they are.

Love the weather. And a good what's left of Sunday to you. I roto-tilled yesterday. Finally dry enought to stir things up without making mud balls. Now I gotta move the compost piles around. Spent 2 hours ph modifying the blueberry patch.
