There for a second I though you said rich people are bad.......I guess I was wrong.
Surely some people would gain much more than others, and those in a good position are surely pushing, but W would gain also by being the President during a better economy, same as Clinton gained by being in charge during the proliferation of the internet/high stock market.....
I'm not saying this is the best administration to be leading this country, but aside from that, why not carefully develope our resources ?

It's the usual...those whom stand to gain financially are for it whereas those who don't are against it. The majority of Americans are against it because they can see that bottom line there is no gain for them. Some tribes, Oil companies, the State of AK, Stevens and his cronies, BushCo all stand to gain. I've said it before, I don't believe ANWR has anything really to do with oil. If it were the industry wouldn't have tried to conceal their estimates on the amount of possible oil in ANWR. It's about all the $$ a few stand to gain and mostly from tax payer subsidies.

I gotta ask. Sodfarmer, did you vote for Kerry as the best man or was it a party line vote? We got a lot of sodfarmers in this area, mostly bluegrass crops. What kind of groceries do you cultivate?
