Just a little more to support the theory OBL is dead.

Richard Clarke "I don't think Bin Laden represents a threat anymore. Today he largely serves as a symbolic figure...In fact he may be more valuable to his followers dead as a matyr, then he was in his last two years."

What does he mean by "in his last two years"?
Take that comment in context with the recent closure of the CIA's Bin Laden unit. Does it make any sense unless OBL was already dead?


And I saw his last 'video' where he's shown on tape, but the voice is dubbed over, and he's praising the dead Zarqawi. Same unidentified CIA official authenticated the tape. I've seen better multimedia work on almost any public cable access station.

I wondered about the shutdown of the Alec group. You may have it right. Dead or alive he is more a figure head and an oracle for the fanatics.
