Heh. I recall walking to class the next morning only to see a big black limo parked outside the Theta Xi house. Out of the top of the sunroof of the Limo was Bob Rivers from KISW (back when he had some nads) who was handing out small jars of peanut butter to anyone who walked by!



Ah college. What a fun time. Oh wait, I never left....

I remember that thing with Theta Xi--My older brother had just joined The Phi Sigs his freshman year when that happened. I remember seeing thier pamphlet--That group of A-holes looked like a cross between The Alphas from Revenge of the Nerds and The Omegas from Animal House.

Yep thaat's the place. I fondly recall drinking Beer Beer in the basement with that stoplight that was all melted to form what looked like a toungue.

All at the ripe old age of 15...

whatever happened to that guy? all he does now is do watered down morning talk and whore his name out to every advertiser, and bring them up every 30 seconds.

He got busted by the FCC for being naughty and suspended his ticket for a year, KISW fired him, he went to that lame azz oldies station, and now he's pretty well neutered and chickenschit...

I guess losing your livelihood for 365 days will do it to ya.

Funeral after last year's AC:

I just heard Bob on the air in Portland.
Getting busted by the FCC seems to have mellowed him out. I miss him and Spike and the Twisted Tunes. Although Rockfish is WAY better than Bob.
