Got that one right Sparkey, that call was BS. However the canes dug there own grave earlier than that with all the turnovers. Either way, it was a great "edge of the seat" game, unlike title games of the past.
Congrats to all the Buckeyes...Anyday the canes go down is a good day!! Did I mention Im an FSU fan

Penalties are penalties no matter what part of the game they occur in. Did it ruin a good game?? Nope. Am I a fan of either team?? Nope.

Best game that I've seen all year long, messed up call or not. Not even wanting to go get another cold one for fear of missing a great play.What about Magehee's bending knee instant replay? Very glad to see Ohio win though, was getting sick of hearing about Miami. Coach Koker deserves alot though for having a 24-0 record before this game, very outstanding play by both teams.

The no-call on Miami's DB on OSU's last third down before the end of regulation makes up for the questionable PI call.

Besides, only Mike Price and Jason Gesser blame losses on the refs. (sorry, RR, I had to get in one last dig )

I thought the holding call was b.s at first.Then upon further review I had to agree.
On the replays at the very beginning of them you could see the d.b pulling the reciever back by his shirt pretty hard.Then lets go and wraps him up as soon as yhe ball gets there.Making it look like a bum call.
As somebody said there was a definite makeupo call later.
Wouldnt want to be a ref in one of those situations anyhow.

Second time I've seen the college OT rules (first game was colorado vr Wisconsin - go Badgers! )

Anyway, I kinda like the OT rules, makes for a very interesting "second" game.

I thought the call was correct for defensive holding, not interference. I agree with httnfsh. Great game.

I'm still shaking, giggling, crying and gawking! I spent my childhood in Cincinnati, rooting for the Buckeyes, then went to Ohio State for my Bachelors and grad school. The game was amazing in a season full of amazing games for the Buckeyes. I was so excited, if I had a Buckeye football helmet, I'd have worn it on my run with my hands in the air! Where can you get a Buckeye jersey in Portland? They showed so much heart all year long and Tressel kept them so focused! Krenzel is one tough, intellegent dude, Clarette made a play for the ages stealing the ball after the interception, and Doss would not let the defense break down all year long! Buckeye fans new a game like this was very possible, but few others seemed to think so. Go underdogs! Go Bucks! I love football!!!!!!!!!!!!!
