Watching the news last night and they said that a couple of guys fishing on lake sammamish were shot at by someone on shore. No one was hit but shot out the drivers side windshield on their lund boat. What kind of moron does that kind of stuff. They should be shot if they catch them.

I was parked on the gravel bar at the NF Lewis River hatchery watching some guys fish while I rigged up my stuff. All of a sudden I hear this distinct BOOM and the water exploding between these two guys who fishing. I yelled at them that they were shot at and I kinda realized why. Both of them were s*@$ faced and hade driven to the other side earlier to threaten a guy who had crossed their line once too often. Luckily for once in my life my stuff wasn't ready to go because I was set to fich between them, right where the bullet hit the water! It takes all sorts...

Gonna have to get some body armor to fish the Lewis! They need to have some kind of law enforcement up there when it is crowded. At least put a phone in where we could call these idiots in to the cops!

Nothing quite like a nice, peaceful, relaxing day out fishing. Hope they find that wonderful human being and lock him up.

Gun shots on the river? Over what? Four years in the Marine Corps as a young, dumb kid did at least teach me one thing. Just walk away! How much are you going to enjoy the fishing when you are exchanging words with someone? Find another spot or go home. Leave the morons there to annihilate one another.

Dang I did not think it was that common to get shot at while fishing! I was fishing a pond in lewis county, there was a lake on the other side of the road. I heard a high pitched zing by me and then a boom on the top of a ridge pretty far away at first it just didnt register that I was being shot at! though after the second shot I went down the other side of the road for cover and a third shot rang out after the bullet hit the water behind me! then I got the heck out of there! I never pist nobody off down there before so I think it was just some careless target shooters. From my experience I learned where the saying "you never hear it coming" came from.

I wonder how well you would float if you fall in the river with Kevlar on eek
