My girlfriend and I went out with rob endsley of kulshan excursions on saturday. No steelhead today, but we had a blast hooking at least 20-30 dollies and a couple of monsters probably 6 pounds or so. I really recommend going on a trip with rob if you want to learn a lot about the river. He taught me a lot about reading water wear steelhead lay and he put up with my girlfriends lack of experience. He was a real nice guy and keept us laughing all day. It was an awesome day, and I would surely do it again.

Sounds like you had a great time and good guide. What section did you fish and did you mostly drift eggs for those dollies.

We fished the upper section, small cheater and good sized egg cluster.
