I was just at my local sporting goods store " bobs" and they had a pantoon boat for $179.00 it was normally $260.00 I was thinking of picking it up but I was wondering if I could get a better deal at the sportsman show comming in portland? The boat was the lower end modle but looked in good shape. Also what about the double bladders? Are they that important?

What brand of boat was it? How long? Made out of what? The price might be great for small bass kick boat, but is that what you want? I just came from the Washington sportmans show, and there was a ton of pontoon boats to compare and choose from. I'd wait, Bob's might even be there with a lower price.

I agree with AK Floater, wait and look at them first. You need to decide what you want to use it for, makes a big difference. Also, there are more used boats being sold (on this site too) for a lot less than new, you can buy more boat for less money.
