Been checking airfares here the last few weeks to fly Fishgal's sister and niece down our way for a few days.

Just learned today that you can get RT airfare from Sea-Tac to Anchorage all the way through the end of next August for $218.40!!



Jeez, you can barely bring your boat across the ferry anymore RT for that much!!

For anyone that might have been looking at a trip north this next summer but budget constraints weren't gonna let it happen, this may have just helped you out!

To bad Continental doesn't fly into Ketchikan, Ak. air is the only airline that services K-town and it cost that much or more to go 1/2 way to Anchorage, what a scam.

That's the starting date of Jan 27 SW ... seats available through the end of August!

We ended up getting RT Ketchican last summer for under $300 ... seems like around $250 if you can hold off on booking it till June. Doesn't make much sense but that's how it worked out for us.

Great prices to Anchorage too....

B. Gray, can't wait till June I have to be there May 21st, where did you find those prices.

Will you be in Craig this summer? if so, look for me around the "Cape" or Pineapple just look for the 25ft. Almar with #18 in the window and the net in the air

Thanks Bob, but a day late for me. I just booked my air up to Anchorage for the last week of July to fish the Kenai and paid $480. Good thing I was able to cut that in half with a buddy fare coupon or I would really be upset. I did manage to get myself in first class using a few extra miles though.

Sounds like you're working up there this summer for Waterfall? Nice boats. Must be real nice to have your own mechanics on staff too. Good luck up there. Sorry we never got a chance to hook up during my "vacation" from October-January. Back on the job now so my weekdays are again spent working for the Man.

I doubt I'll be able to make it back up to Craig this summer. Got a smolt due to hatch sometime around late June.

B. Gray, hey congrats on the smolt, I've had a couple of my own in the past couple years, thats why I took a little sabatical from guiding, the mrs. misses the money so back I go (darn)

Yeah, were kind of spoiled with the boats and mechanics, those Almars were custom built for the resort with alot of input from the guides.

I'm looking forward to reading the article unfortunately, I don't get that program on my cable, I would pay ya for a copy
