I had a interesting day last week. I went up the skaget looking for water that wasent blown out, stoped in a place that a stream that is usualy clear emties in. it was not quite as dirty as the rest of the river but still only had about 12 inches of visibility. was about to leave when I noticed a trout rise and suck down a bug. Looked around and found out there were little black knats. I had a small brown one but they wouldnt touch it. got a felt marker out of my truck and I now had a mostly black one. caught 1 nice rainbow and a small cuttie before I lost the fly to a down river bound log about 5 feet long....so over all I adapted and had fun...DJ
