Am I stupid or just can't find where bob keeps the easy to use calculator for the C & R.????.

I use a piece of string to measure the length, tie a knot and measure the girth. Very quick and easy way to measue fish. You then have a souvinier to hang with your picture!

Then when you say it was "this big!" you just show 'em the string.

I hear ya Gutz,I use a measuring tape most of the time but when in someone elses boat I resort to the leader material method.Good luck,
