Wanted to post a couple pics from earlier this week, Thanxs to everyone here we went from getting skunked last Saturday to putting 10+ fish in the boat last Tues. We even caught fish in Blakely harbor when the tide changed and everything slowed down out on West point. I wanted to be out this weekend but work has been pretty slow and I need to save my pittance for now,

Nice day on the water!

Mike C. and I fished West Pt. today. We caught six shakers between us. Four were at the tide change.

The inner bay, by the launch and mouth of the Green, seemed really dead. We scoped huge bait balls around but no fishies.

Girlfreind and I fished E.Bay last Sat(1st) and got totally skunked, but this was after getting the crap kicked out of us up on westpoint. Medium waves decent wind and a kicker that does not like to run and tiller steered when it does, all ganged up on us. We didn't get the wires in the prop but I did get them tangled up and hung up and all that...sun was much better (except all th damn flounder)
One thing I did find on Tues was the school was in 80 to 90 feet, and as long as we stayed with them we caught fish. I think E.Bay was just to muddy what

Fished Piont no piont today, four of us caught are limit. It was a all day fishery but was able finish it up by 3:30. Caught all are fish at 85 to 90 ft down. Tide did not make much differance today fish were spread out pretty evenly through out the day.
Also we were running the BB at 5.2 all day jumped it up to 6.8 and while it was there we had not one hit all fish were caught at 5.2

We had a customer come into the store today who recently bought a depth sounder from us, he was pretty excited, he had just returned from fishing near Edmonds and first thing this morning he marked a big boomerrang right off the bottom in 160', dropped down to it and it ended up being a 27 pounder, he was to excited to be making this up, said he'd bring us pictures in a couple days.

Heard rumors of a 25# from the San Juans recently also, sounds like there are some nice fish around.
