The Green was lean!!!
It once ranked on the top 5 rivers in the state, now it is a total joke!
Time to hit the highway.

saturday morning 7-9 am water was little high and dirty. Probably going tuesday morning for a couple hours at big bowl area. Hit the Kalama on thursday had one on for few seconds then lost saw some big ones in the tree slot but no hookups. I can get out more since my remodel is finally done. You probably need to get adjusted also.

Hit the Kalama on friday and then again on sunday. Sunday was some tough hunting. Hit a couple holes but know fish. I tried the red barn and did not have an ounce of luck. Maybe I just don't know how to fiish it. Friday on the kalama was a good day. Talked to the bio and she said that there were a lot of fish taken. I had one take down. and a lot of trout/smolt hooks. But that was all. I am hoping to go this week some time but for sure on saturday and this sunday. I didn't realize the green had fish to offer. I only fished it once towards the end of the silver run and it was fun but that was it. What is it like now? when I was there it was so low that I could wade just about every where. One other thing what is the best way to fish this river?
