UM,
My opinion- the ebb the best and the 7' swing is absolutely perfect for GP!
I drop the gear down right in front of the day marker (140') on Green and following the contour towards Fox Island. I find the majority of the fish hit between the houses and the Punch Bowl (middle of the passage- open water) with the majority of bigger fish hanging in the Punch Bowl. When you get to the end of the troll, pick up and head back to Green and drop to 150, etc..
Most of the bait will not push around the corner for at least three hours after the tide shift. So don't get too discouraged if no bait shows early. The deepest the bait will head on a 7' swing is about 170' in this area.
If you want to sleep in and fish the High, just fish back and forth through the Punch Bowl at 130'-150'.
Now is a good time to starting thinking about Coho Killers and Squirts- HINT!
Now through June, GP and the Sand Spit will be on fire. May and June are the two best months for BM. So save us some fish until July!
Hope to see us awesome pix of you and Rick with a few slabs... Let DD and I know how you did.
