does anyone know the current regs for the lyre????

From the falls downriver is open until 2/28.....release nates.....pay to fish (even days only, if not camping) lower section (Lyre River Campground....Jim Norman's place) Kids only below Jim's to the mouth

The upper reaches should be pretty good right now. It's a young man's game, tho....quite a hike as both roads are blocked.

Not sure when it closes. and Ididn't fish it last year. But 2 years ago you could fish the lower camp ground any day, but you have to pay for a camp site and any one could fish the mouth where it was just kids for years before. I don't know if they went back to the old way or not. if you do go to the Lyre, bring lots of pre tied hooks. One snaggy S.O.B. the Lyre is.
I caught my first steelie on the Lyre. When it's hot, there are few rivers as good. Since I got my pontoon boat I have been doing rivers that are more floater friendly.
