fished a local river...

As if getting low-holed by a parade of water slapping sea-donkeys wasn't enough, seeing the stringer of steelie smolts and a driftboat full of undersized dollies sure made me realize that fishing in this state will continue to decline until we improve enforcement.

Did those mini-dollies and jr. smolts taste good? confused

thought about posting descriptions, license plates, etc. but felt it was inappropriate.

Just like the police... ya do have to call some stuff in. We cant just say, "Oh I saw some guy kill 8 ducks today, law enforcement must suck for not catching him... Or, I saw three guys snagging salmon, why doesnt law enforcement get off their ass and do somethin?"

If you got a problem with it, call it in. All those meth busts? Most are called in by SOMEONE. Think people think... It's just like any other law enforcement, you still gotta do your part.

What ironbelly says, absolutly right. If you're not willing to post #'s and faces if ya got em. Then all you're doing is biatching. You probably are going to find out that the perps are nowhere near this site anyway.

Bank Walker,

You might be right.... about getting you know what... And as far as law breakers go I would like you all to know I have called into the WDFW poaching hotline before on a Saturday only to find out that the damn phone service was a recording and the message machine was full! mad --No S#@T!! I'm not kidding. My only other option was to call the Sheriff at that point. Please have a read of my quote below and take some action. I am.
(Take pictures of the culprits next time. If they're really dumb you might get them to hold em' up for you while you take a picture of them Heck you might even get a first name or two! Be creative)

Steelnerves, I believe the appropriate thing to do in that case is to call WSP, They will take it from there. We all need to do our part as the stewards of the resources and make these calls that seem like difficult decisions. It's the only way to catch the a$$holes that rape our waters.
