Floatuber and I fished from Magnolia to 4 mile rock today. We caught seven shakers and one Keeper After an epic battle we raised the almost-new crab pot from the bottom in 109 feet of water. Who says white hoochies do not work?

Yep, they’ll catch everything from juvenile kings to ’67 Buicks. I took a twenty-five pound halibut on a tiny hoochie last year at Tofino. Startled hell outta me but I didn’t complain.

What a coincidence, we pulled up a pot today too. Full of muck so back it went. Easy, you going to be able to make it out tomorrow?

Is this a resident immature carb pot? What kind of license do you need to retain the pot?

I retained my pot. ( missing adipose) and fried up the seagull. A little tuffer than chicken. A few beers and they all taste the same. Speaking of junk on the bottom, I've often wondered how much lead is on the bottom of Elliott Bay in front of the Sea Crest fishing pier? Is there a diver with big enuff balls to dive there? ( or stupid enough )
