Hey guys, I just purchased my first used drift boat tonite. Now I've been down the snoqualmie and the skykomish before, but can anybody lead me towards some easy drifts. Where maybe I can land a fish and get more familiar with the new boat. any info will be much appreciated by myself and HBP. beer

Probably the easiest drift there is down my way - westfork to the highway on the Satsop - westfork launch is a mess but you can slide it in ok if you don't mind a scratch or two. Can't say I've heard great things about the fishing but you never know. The 'Nooch, from the White Bridge down to the gravel bar is real easy also, as long as you don't go past that and try to row over the water diversion. I float both of these rivers in a duck boat.

The trick in a river is to point the downstream end at the thing you don't want to hit and row upstream. And if you get in any wood, don't grab anything. When in doubt, get out and walk it down. Good luck beer
