From talking to some of the people on the Crab advisory board from the state, it looks like June or July. I guess they want to make sure that the commercials didn't miss any out there. Sorry, just mad after the way it has been over commercialed over the last two years.

Hey all... New to this board.
Having grown up in Everett, I find it more than coincidence that it has only been since 1998 that Tribes have had shellfish included in their Boldt 50%.... Now we have a crab shortage problem? Hmmm......
Have to wonder how many wonderful Native-Americans-That-Migrated-here-from-asia-at-one-time fish like the one they popped in Tulalip with 1200 lbs of illegally caught crab aboard his boat..

As few as 5 years ago, If you used rings, you could crab year around. And I did. Had some fantastic January afternons lazing on the bay and pulling rings....

Duckhunting in November in the bay, and you could see 2 comercials working over the shelf
frown

Now we are lucky to have 4 months in a year. beathead

What I really find interesting is the fact that a portion of Port Gardener is supposed to be recreational only. There should not be a concerna about comercials in this area.
