Sounds like this one may end up knocking everything out for a bit, so get out and get your lines wet (by clean river water and not downpours) before it comes.

While I was hoping for a big shot to normalize fishing a tad, this might be a little more than I was asking for ... let's hope that perhaps they're overdoing it a tad and it'll be just a good old-fashioned big rain and not a March Pineapple Express that left the Bogachiel and Sol Duc in Leyendecker Parking Lot a while back!

I had to reschedule my trip on the Sol Duc intill April 9th. Do the Springers start running around this time there and do the Native Steelies run still running that late.

There will be a few oddballs in the river, but really, it's a May fishery for the springers. Some years we'll target them the last part of April, but that's not something you'll be able to count on every season.

Most of the April 'Duc fish are smaller, but there's still a handful of bigger fish around, but I look elsewhere for big fish that time of year

it was a storm like this in 95 that flooded northen californa. We had a week of heavy snow followed by a week of warm rain that left norther californa a complete wreck.

Here's another forecast. they're saying it could be the strongest storm of this winter.. Oh-Boy!!
