Three of us floated the Satsop on Sunday. We put in at Schafer St Pk . We were floating with pontoons, first time on the water. The water down stream of the big hole is spooky! Down stream of the western confluence I hooked up with two nats. 7 and 13 as near as we could figure. Water was real nice until 2:30. Then it looked just like my latte! It was a real nice trip. hello

Starfisher,

Congrats on a good day. Good thing you got your float in when you did cause it looks like with the Pineapple Express that's coming it's going to be a long timeout before the WynSop's are fishable again.
By the way, I was just wondering if they ever got that flipped boat out of that nasty stretch you mentioned? It was buried upside down and good. Sure looked like it would be tough to get a rope on it where it was.

mooch, the boat was gone with no sign of it being there except for all the nasty broken branches showing that someone worked real hard removing that boat. The broken branches are sharp and vicious looking...stay clear! We all walked our boats around it ,tricky currents there drive you into the tree even when you think you are clear. Next time I will stay so far over to the right you will loose me in the cover on the other side!

Where you fishing this weekend! Scott
