zig Juvenille at Sea Registered: 09/24/02 Posts: 126 Loc: Seattle	Has anyone been down to the Bonneville or Willamette area for sringers yet? Going to head down in a week or so. I'm familliar with Beacon Rock buty haven't fished the Kathlamette area. Any advice?

If you go down there, launch at willow grove or cathlamet and run downriver and you'll see boats. If you are early look for piling below cathlamet and hug the oregon side below willow grove. Needs a week to clear. Where I was fishing, (Longview area), it was averaging about a fish for every three boats, which is phenomenal for this early in the season. Kwik fish on a dropper from the anchor on the outgoing, herring on the troll on the incoming is the usual drill. _________________________ Hm-m-m-m-m

silverback Fry Registered: 01/29/02 Posts: 30 Loc: Concrete,Wa.	Plunking for springers can be done on Puget Is.across the bridge at Cathlamet,there is a public fishing area known as Sunny Sands on the south side of the island,standard spin\glo presentation with triple dropper rigs
