I was able to get to the website by deleting the comma at the end of the address but when I got there, there were only two posts and I was attacked by four or five pop-up ads. Not worth the time to go there.

Trout Unlimited,

Pop-up ads are akin to spam email. The internet would be better without them. Since your starting this as a business, you are familiar with market research. If you do some, you will find that people will stop going to websites that have too many pop-ups. Take a look at these posts. The only two people who claimed to have gone to your website complained about the pop-ups. Look at your competition. They don't have pop-ups, do they? Bob runs a great board. Lots of members and lurkers. The other successful BB's do not have pop-ups. It's a dog eat dog world on the internet and we (the customers) are the ones who will make or break you. Pay attention to what we want and you will do well. Ignore us and pay the price.

Pop-ups are advertising accepted by the parent site. If this is your site, you control what advertising is there, right? If you dont have control of your BB, then who does?

The name of this topic was:

I'm still looking for that fly!
Name: "Trout unlimited"?
I guess those who appreciate deception
should learn to enjoy pop-up advertising.

Get a job, register a domain name and then
pay a real web hosting service
to put up a real website.

If it's any good... you'll get veiwers!
Didn't we tell you that the last time
you spammed the forums?
