Well after 2 1/2 days trying we give up. Don't know how we'll get it out until the water goes down. Only problem is that high water is expected next and probably wash it down river. Just my luck!!! The duck

Sorry to hear the news Duck, always happy to hear everyone made it out okay! If you could email some pixs of it, I might be able to offer some suggestions, or maybe not .... but I'd be happy to try!

Did you try winching it out with come-alongs?

Never lost a boat myself, but I've heard other people suggest attacking it at multiple angles, ie. having one to pull upstream and one to pull across.

Of course all this depends on being able to get to the boat to attach lines and having something to anchor the come-alongs to.

Good luck.

anybody know if they got the boat out??? It is kind of like watching one of those puppy down a storm drain things on TV. Glad everyone is OK, just don't change that trying to get it loose.

Glad to hear that everybody made it out ok. I found two soaked dudes walking up my road when doing my turnaround Saturday. This is what I found when we got down the road.

Both passengers made it out ok, but they should have stayed left when going through this spot I have nicknamed "sweeper central".

I said this last week, and I'll say it again:
