did you see Kenseth's fender was about to fall off. Bump drafting.

Not only am I happy that Jr. won, gordon had a chance to win and didnt take advantage of it.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

So, is there like a "secret list" of drivers who are allowed to drive below the yellow line?

NASCAR's rules and enforcement are a joke.

Dan S.

You are absolutely right!

Always have been, probably always will be.

It usually takes a little while for the drivers to figure it out, but they all get the message.

Tony Stewart, Robby Gordon, Happy Harvick, they get the message, and if you complain very much, you lose your car.

Nascar plays to the crowd. It's a little like Big time Rasslin.

Nobody but Jr. would have gotten away with that pass. They won't catch Jr. cheatin, but if he gets too mouthy (he won't, they already had a talk with him) they won't let him get thru tech with it.

They need a hero and theres nobody better to fill the slot since Jeffy came out.

IMHO
herm

I love the races though, its still the best game in town.

C'mon guys, I think Jr is a lousy driver for the great crew behind him. I also think he's a loudmouth punk. But the pass on sunday was within the rules. He was 90% by the other car when he went low,he only went low to avoid a crash and he did'nt stay low long.

Well said Skydriftin, on the pass. The rest was a bunch of hot air. I would think you'ld have to be a pretty damn good driver to do what Jr. did the last 20 laps. Go DEI :p

Does the rule say you can't cross the line? Seriously, I don't know. He clearly DID cross it, but whether he gained a "competitive advantage" by doing so is a matter of opinion.

But what kind of crap is it to fine the winning car's team or owner, or chief mechanic or whoever when the car fails inspection at the end of the race? They should either make the inspection less stringent, or disqualify a car that fails inspection. JMHO.

If you didn't watch the Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday morning, you missed a good race there, too.

I would rather he dip below the line to avoid a possible crash than watch all the leaders and a great race go to hell. If he had spun out the #17 or spun out himself it would have been a bad way to end what had become a great race.

Dan S the rule is a judgement call by Nascar. If you are in the act of passing, you can dip below the line to avoid an acident. The guy that pushes you below the line ( if on purpose) will visit the big red truck. If you go below the yellow line and then pass. You get a black flag, and have to make a 15 second stop in the pits. No working on the car either. huh

The only problem I have with "judgement calls" is they aren't always applied fairly.

I DID enjoy the race.....lots of cars going REAL fast REAL close together.

At first I didn't like the call nascar made, but after seeing it a few more times on tv it look's to me that they made the rite call. jr went down there to avoid another big one. D3smartie said it rite it turned out to be one hell of a race and a caution at that point would have ruined a great finish.
