Well I did a little re-con today. On my way back from the Kalama,(no fish, water high) I stopped to see how to launch at the Toutle. I found public launch on the cow about 3 miles west of I-5. and a dirt road that runs from the exit along the rr tracks to the mouth, but here you have to drive on sand, and one dump truck driver told me that it was private owned and you could get your rig towed.
Does anyone have another place to launch that isn't risking tresspassing? And if i do launch at the public launch 3 miles up. What's the run down like.

That truck driver was full of SH!T. That launch is public access, we've launched the old man's sled there about a bizzillion times with no problems whatsoever. Was the driver perhaps an employ of Wallace's?

The road that is running along the railroad tracks is owned by a man from seattle so yes it is PRIVATE

Check on water conditions before you go.I went over the Cow at I-5 yesterday.Lived here all my life and dont remember ever seeing it this muddy.Its a lot better above Salmon creek. (The Mud Problem) Which is just below Toledo.

Yeah, we're talking about different launches.... No railroad tracks anywhere around the one I'm thinking of.
