Yes....the Columbia is mighty big. Can't promise you won't run her up on a sand bar, but then again I've done that in a 12 footer.

I don't know if I would go on that creek with that big of a boat

maybe save that ride for deep draft waters like the marianas trench.

I've seen much larger boats trolling and hogged up on CR in 12' of water. Just keep an eye on your depth. It can come up fast.

Gonna fish Kalama to St. Helens Thus. to Sat. in a 26' Fountain. It has a fairly deep draw. hello

I run my 20ft bayliner usually between Kalama and the Cowlitz and have not had a problem. Agree with the others, watch your depth and get to know where the low spots are. Hog tied up in 18 ft of water and no problems. Note: look out for dead heads and debri. It doesn't help our props.

how do you guys set up your anchors on the glass boat, have a 17 ft fiberform and have thought about going down there, have an ez marine with float but not a river anchor, have heard tell of a way to set this up by hooking it up so that it can be thrown off so you can chase the fish, but have never seen it or had it explained to me, please let me know, and if you could show me a diagram that would be great, Fishy......
