from participating in political threads that don't directly concern fishing here, but this was just too funny.

What if Saddam survived the bomb blast but lost a leg? Just how p!ssed off do you think his body doubles are going to be?

I won't do this often. Promise.

It is easy to train Iraqi fighter pilots.... They only need to take off!

Believe it or not.... Their Navy has glass bottom boats... So they can see their Air Force!

Why isn't driver's education and sex education taught on the same day in Iraq?
The camels are too tired at the end of the day.

Ok, laugh now you guys. But I have it on good authority that as soon as they finish up with Sadaam they're coming up there to Forks next to get that notorious arch-terrorist, YoMommas bin Loggin.

No wonder some of the rats are jumping ship now and heading north to Alaska. YoMomma (aka Bob), you can run but you can't hide. We've got your coordinates and the MOAB (Mother of all Boats) and we're not afraid to use it. At 540"wide you'll never get past us on the Kasilof! laugh

Well done Salmo smile

We must all remember that these are times with some serious &*it going on, but some levity in those times is a helpful way to deal with the harsh realities of the real world!

Glad you enjoyed the humor. Here's another at Sparkey's request, and why sequels are usually lame.

What do Saddam and Little Miss Muffet have in common? They both had Kurds/curds in their way/whey.

A few jokes seem to help us cope. We often say that our recreational fishing isn't a matter of life or death. Heck, it's much more important than that. Yet, at times like these, with the collapse of an evil regime, liberation for those who dreamed of it, and some of our boys and girls dying nearly every day, my fishing seems pretty insignificant. Tho I better get out tomorrow and see if it helps get my head straight.

Sincerely,

Salmo g.
