I've got to say I've hooked 2 chums that were insane, better fighters than any fish except a large steelhead I"ve caught. both were hooked so low on the river you could see the bay one in seattle one at kennedy creek. didn't land either but they were my most fun fish to hook I've never eat'n chum though for meat it's silver or sockeye (once in a while a brat) or it goes to my friends.
