What's the story on Reiter Ponds this year? Haven't been paying any attention which means haven't got a line in the water yet this summer.

When does it open? Any fish showing yet? Water is gettin' low! thx!

The way the hatchery fish are returning. I won't be suprised if they open it late if they open it at all. Remember, they closed it early last winter due to poor returns. A buddy of mine said that the hatchery was getting very few fish in, so who knows.

Stopped at the hatchery Tues. and talked to one of the guys running it . they had a grand total of 80 summer runs, just a tad bit short of the 350-450 fish they need to meet thier spawning goal .with low water and almost no rain in sight it doesn't look good. not very many reports of fish upstream or down. Wheres the fish????
