This will be very interesting as Kelly White (who Hunter is replacing) supported WSR the last time around...hopefully Hunter feels that same as White does on the issue.

"“John’s extensive background in government and business will enable him to help the commission effectively direct the Department of Fish and Wildlife,” Locke said. “His strong administrative and leadership skills and experience working with county officials will be a valuable asset to the commission.”

Can anyone please explain "how" a person's extensive background in government and business will help promote our hunting and fishing opportunity? Just what the Commissions needs. . .another bureaucrat to manage our fish and wildlife!

Why can't we every get just one ordinary person appointed to our commission who isn't already a dame bureaucrat?

Just goes to show what our gov. really thinks obout our fish and wild life.

Hunters appointement has NOTHING to do with having something to contribute and lots to do with nepotism of sorts.

Step one; change the legal mandate of WDFW!
Step two: Change the legal mandate of the Wildlife Commission!

Until we change both of these "legal mandates", nothing at all will ever be changed. . . "because it is the law"!!

All other efforts will be like spiting stright into a 40 mph wind strom! The only place it will go is right back into your face!
