My son-in-law is looking to replace trout or bass in his backyard pond. His six pound rainbow who resided there expired and the local trout farm where he use to buy a couple dozen trout closed business. (Gold Creek near Woodinville).

Are there any trout farms/kids u-fish places in King, Snohomish, or Pierce county that sells trout or bass for pond stocking, where he might purchase some replacements.

Thanks.

Might try J & D Fisheries, 360-436-0274

West of Darrington. Old listing, not sure it is still good but a place to start.

Thanks, we will give it a try to find those pet trout.

I envy you living so close to the Slide Hole, my favorite for there past 32 years. I wish there was still a trail from the Darrington-Rockport highway. I usually access from the west side bank and hike down the cut at the top or walk upriver from the powerline road before it ends at the creek that enters the Sauk on that road but senior citizenship is making it a huff and puff rock dodging journey.

Know what you're talking about. It's a hike anyway you try to get at it.
