Once again, the afternoon bite has been good to me. I caught this nice little 9# king just five minutes after I started fishing.

Sorry for the long distance photo. It is hard to find good help on that pier. Arklier, however, did take a nice photo the other day. thumbs

The pier has a fish cleaning station (and lots of people). I fish from my boat.

We were right in front of Carl & went right over the same spot when he hooked up with this one. What were we not doing that he was? Just do what Carl does & catch fish. We switched over to the coyote spoon & proceeded to catch a couple chromers 18 & 10 lbs. I got me a new favorite lure. It's been awhile since I've seen a nice big fish & in the water the big one looked like 30, looked like at least 20 in the net, but put her on the scale & she only weighed 18.5. Damn nice fish for my 1st punch. Does anyone know what the tribal net schedule is for Elliot bay? By the reports it looks like some fish moved in there too. But if they net it will noy be very good.

Thanks for the advice Carl, fished there this AM. No kings, but a 4 lb. and a 7 lb. Humpy...one for each of us. Hit mine...the small one at 90 feet on a spoon. My buddy took his own sweet time and hit his at around noon at 27 feet (weird) using herring.

See you out there soon.
