Started out Sunday, Aug. 10 in front of the Edmonds Marina and Oil Dock. Picked up a nice 10+ lb blackmouth but turned him loose. No bites for 30 minutes so we went south to Jeff Head. Smart move. Had silvers on every 20 minutes or so. Nothing big but that's what to expect this time of year. Tried 2 different set ups. Green spatter-back hootchie 36 in. behind a flasher and mother of pearl hootchie same distance behind a chrome dodger. Green spatter back worked last year but was a bust today. That mother of pearl was the ticket. Kept downrigger at the 50' mark all morning. Limit by 11am.

Duck,

After spending all day wandering back and forth from Possession to Shipwreck it is nice to hear someone did better than I. I may give that a shot tomorrow.

Thanks,

nutn

Sounds like Jeff Head was the hot spot this weekend!

I got skunked at Possession and shipwreck on Friday, so I tried Kingston and the oil docks on Saturday...another skunking. I saw all of the boats down there on Jeff Head, but didn't make the trip down there.

Good job, Blue Duck!

Ah yes, the ol' mudda'o'poil hootch.
AKA, the "mop squeezer".
It really cleans up.
