If your thinkin about area 8-2 Its heatin up nice in there. The pinks are the main show with some silvers here and there in the mix. Banged a 9 and 12 yesterday and got our limit of humps as well. Boated 7 humps today and probably lost at least 15 or more. Its go time!
More boats out there every day. Life is good!

Yeah, I notice the boats while taking the ferry from Whidbey this morning.

I think tomorrow I will walk across - literally, from boat to boat! I bet there were 250 boats today, ?

I guess that's the norm for the peak of the season, but every year it's an impressive view from the ferry.

How can that many people fish during weekday mornings? I-5 must be empty!

Glad to hear you had a good morning on the water Chrome454, I only wish I had the entire morning off to fish!

Humpies kickin arse right now at Shipwreck...Went up Sun with Bro in law and Dad...limited out 4 ea by 10:45am on 8/18/03. We circled a boat about 3x that had just caught some (was on top of a big school) and we nailed 3 just doing so.

Almost 48lb of Pinks, fish on!

Heh...got a little add reply happy...

Forgot to mention we seen quite a few jump and I personally wittnessed about a few dozen all at once surface where you could see their back fins above water. No sign of seals though thank goodness.

Get out there while the getting's good!

I might take a fly rod and troll a pink fly on the surface just for the heck of it. Green and chrome hot spot and 3 inch pink hoochie is what is doing most of the damage though.
Its hump time!!!
