I'm sure this has been addressed before, but there are toooooo many references to eggs in the past to go through...

My question is this...

My father-in-law just picked up a 26 lb king and has a bunch of eggs that he won't use. He offered them to me but I won't be able to go get them for a few days. Is it okay to freeze them BEFORE they are cured? I'm sure that some of the eggs will rupture, but how about the overall quality?

IF they are only going to uncred for a few days, have your Dad make sure they are blood free, put in a zip lock and store them in the fridge.

Freeze them if you like. I've frozen eggs for a year then thawed them and cured them and had no visible difference in catch rates compared to the freshly cured eggs. Make sure to wipe off any frost first when you thaw them, and thaw them in the fridge. And make sure like RK43 said, get all the blood out or they will get a rotten smell to them. I also suggest getting them as cold as possible in the fridge first before the freezer. This will prevent bursting or whiteing.
