I'm looking for a place to take my little sister salmon fishing. I want to take her up on the Sky for some humpie action but would like some basic info as to where to go. She doesn't have waders or anything so I need some decent bank access. Are the humpies up by the cracker bar yet or the Ben Howard area? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Humpies are filling the Snohomish system. For relatively easy access you might try the Snohomish between Snohomish and Everett on Lowell Road which runs on the south side of the Snohomish from Snohomish to Everett. You won't have any trouble finding where to fish, they will be cars parked all along the river on the dike access roads.

I observed humpies from just above the Lowell boat ramp all the way up river to the 522 bridge yesterday.

The Sky must be full as well, but you might find easier access on the lower Snohomish and up to Thomas Eddy.

That's great news, I may just hit the river for a change of scenery.
